Patricia Lewin
Bio
Patricia Lewin didn't start out to be a writer. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, and worked for 12 years at IBM. During her 7th or 8th year, she started thinking about writing again (after writing during high school) and attended a writer's conference in Orlando. That, as the saying goes, got the ball rolling.
She immersed herself in the publishing world, and turned her attention to writing. She sold her first book, Keeping Katie, to Harlequin in 1993, and it was published the following year. She soon left IBM and pursued writing full-time.
Pat has written eight romance novels - five under the pseudonym Patricia Keelyn (her paternal grandmother's maiden name) and three as Pat Van Wie (her legal name). These books have been on the Waldenbooks Romance Bestseller List and nominated for numerous awards, including: Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Awards and the Colorado Award of Excellence.
She chose to write her suspense novels under the name Patricia Lewin, which is her husband's name.
She has lived all over the United States, from Oregon to Florida and several points in between. She currently lives outside Boston with her husband.
