Bio

Paul Levine

Paul Levine grew up in Pennsylvania and pursued journalism at Penn State. He worked as a reporter at the Miami Herald, and became interested in the law while covering criminal court. After graduating from law school, he worked as a civil trial lawyer in Philadelphia and then Miami. In yet another career shift, he began writing and now is a full-time novelist and screenwriter.

His Jake Lassiter series, featuring a linebacker turned lawyer, has been published in 23 countries. A screen adaptation of the first book in the series, To Speak for the Dead, was shown on NBC in 1995.

Paul currently lives in Los Angeles and is working on his Solomon vs. Lord series.
