Bio

Nora Kelly

Nora Kelly was born in 1945 and grew up in New Jersey and New York, and spent several summers on Cape Cod. She moved to British Columbia in the late 1960s and currently shares her time between Vancouver and Cambridge, England. She has one son.

She earned degrees from the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University. She writes novels, short stories and screenplays, teaches part-time and is involved in community activism. Nora is a member of The Writers' Union of Canada and Crime Writers of Canada (and past president).

Old Wounds won the 1999 Arthur Ellis Best Novel Award.
