Karen Irving
Bio
Karen Irving hails from Victoria, British Columbia, but has lived on both coasts of Canada. She now makes her home in Ottawa, with her husband, two children and assorted pets. She holds a a Masters degree in social work, and has worked as a social worker, counsellor and freelance writer in the health and social services field.
Karen began studying astrology when she was a teenager, and her interest has continued and is obvious in her books. Karen's main character, Katy Klein, is a psychologist turned astrologer.
Pluto Rising was nominated for the 2000 Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Novel.
