Lisa Gardner

Bio

Lisa Gardner

At eighteen years of age, Lisa Gardner decided to write a romance novel. After a few re-writes, it was sold to Silhouette Intimate Moments just three years later, during her junior year of college. It was released as Walking After Midnight under her pseudonym Alicia Scott. She continued her studies, and in 1993 graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in International Relations. She got a job working as a management consultant, but she kept up her writing. She later switched from romance to suspense novels, and has had great success in this genre.

Lisa lives in New Hampshire with her husband, their daughter, and their pets (two dogs and a cat).
