Lauren Wright Douglas
Bio
Lauren Wright Douglas was born in Canada in 1947. She was raised in a military family and spent several childhood years in Europe. She lived in Oak Bay, British Columbia, moved to the Southwest U.S, and then moved again to the Oregon coast where she lives today with her partner Martha and their cats.
Ninth Life, Lauren's second novel, won the Lambda Award for Best Lesbian Mystery (1990). She is at work on another animal-rights novel, which is in neither the Caitlin Reece nor the Allison O'Neil series.
