Alex Brett
Bio
Alex Brett earned her B.Sc (Honours) from Dalhousie University and spent some time in graduate school. Her interest in nature and science has influenced her work; she has worked as a park naturalist, field technician, and in various research labs. Alex also spent years as a writer, editor and media relations officer with the National Research Council of Canada.
Alex wrote a nine-part series on mystery writing, which appeared in The Ottawa Citizen. The series chronicled the highs and lows associated with writing, as well as presented a serialized short story (Unnatural Selection).
