Lou Allin

Bio

Lou Allin Lou was born on June 5, 1945 in Toronto but grew up in Ohio. Her father followed the film business to Cleveland in 1948. She earned a Ph.D. in English Renaissance literature, but headed back to Canada in the 1970s. She settled in Northern Ontario and has been there ever since.

For over twenty-two years, Lou has been teaching communications courses at Cambrian College. She lives with her dogs on her own meteor crater lake, and enjoys outdoor activities (including canoeing, snowmobiling and hiking).
